With the development of the science of materials, microwave absorbing materials used whether in military or civilian, have been made rapid development. "thin, wide, light, strong" have become the target of modern microwave absorbing material development. Now the research on absorbing materials has changed from traditional absorbent of singer layer to multilayered composite ones that have carrying capacity. High-performance microwave absorber is the key factor to promote the development of microwave absorbing materials and the foundation to study the properties of microwave absorbing materials. Oxide graphite with good hydrophilicity and absorption property in aqueous solution can absorbe transition metal ions and polymers and insert them into the layers, then transition metal/graphite oxide nanocomposites and polymer/graphite oxide nanocomposites are easily prepared. these nanocomposites are in possession of not only dielectric loss of the graphite oxide but also the magnetic loss of metal as well as the loss due to the coupling effect between transition metal and graphite oxide. Therefore these composite materials are expected to become an ideal absorbing material with the properties of light weight, low absorption frequency, adjustable electromagnetic parameters and large loss.As traditional ferrite absorbing material keep the characteristic of small density, poor stability in high temperature and so on, the research on the multi-match absorbing materials are mostly based on the theories and models designing, and the structure of material are mostly about two or three layers and less about four layers. to mention about these problems we did certain extent promotion as follows:According to theory of transmission line and impedance matching. we made multi-layer absorbing materials from the above nano-composite materials absorbing material and the traditional iron oxide and other materials,that can enhance the absorbing properties of absorbing materials.Otherwise, the research of metamaterials injected new vitality into the development of absorbing materials. metamaterials is a new class of artificially structured materials with periodic structure and special electromagnetic properties used to control absorbing materials and then increasing the absorbing properties. based on the research about absorbing properties of multi-layer absorbing materials we insert metamaterials into the multi-layer materials and extraordinary enhance the absorbing properties of materials. At last through out the simulation we achieve the reflection loss below-lOdB in the 6.53~15.88GHz band.
