As a special material for absorbing electromagnetic waves,the absorbing material is consumed by interference or energy conversion through its own structure or absorption characteristics,and is first used in the stealth of military war weapons.For aircraft,in recent years,the structure design of the fuselage and the use of absorbing materials have effectively reduced the radar scattering cross-sectional area(RCS)of the whole machine,and the complex circuit system and antenna system has become the main RCS contributor to the aircraft platform.However,the antenna system belongs to the transmission end of electromagnetic wave,the addition of absorbing material will also have a certain impact on its own antenna work.In this thesis,the influence law of absorbing materials on the performance of antennas is studied,and it is applied to airborne microstrip antennas to explore the influence of absorbing materials on the antenna itself.Based on the project of Aviation Fund,this thesis expands the influence of absorbing materials on the antenna system,and through the simulation analysis of different positions,thicknesses and areas,the main research contents are as follows: The L and U/V band Airborne antennas are selected,and the design and model construction of antennas and radome are carried out according to their size and requirements,and the application of coated absorbing materials on antenna surface and radome surface is tested according to the actual demand.The absorbing material has no obvious effect on the radiation performance of L-band antenna,but the high dielectric constant of the absorbing material has an effect on the matching characteristics of the antenna,which enhances the reflected electromagnetic waves.But on the whole,the material does not absorb L-band electromagnetic wave,so it can be applied to L-band antenna.When the absorbing material is coated on the surface of the antenna radiator,it absorbs U/V-band antenna to some extent.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the coating area in order to minimize the absorption of self-emitted waves.
