With the development of economy and the increasingly tense of land resources, the high-rise building development speed is very rapid, in which reinforced concrete frame-shear wall structure due to an integrated frame and shear wall structure system advantages is widely used in China. Additionally the basement is very common in high-rise building, how to choose the partial fixing of the tall-building with basement and to simplify the formation of a reasonable calculation model is an important issue in design. In this paper, the internal force and displacement of frame - shear wall structure under the lateral loads are calculated, and give some recommendations about the rational design of key components. Main completed works is shown in the following.1. This paper introduces collaborative works of frame-shear wall structure, and solves the force and displacement of rigid system and the articulated system under three kinds of lateral loads, and further more, calculates internal force of each component. At the same time, this paper discusses how to calculate the rigidity of the general framework, the total shear wall and the total coupling beam.2. Computer method of analysis and design about frame - shear wall is introduced. This paper describes how to input some of the main design parameters when we use SATWE software; and with practical examples, analysis of how to determine the reasonableness of the structure and how to rationally adjust the layout based on the results of computing.3. With selecting different stiffness characteristic values, internal forces and displacement of basic differential equations about frame - shear wall structure under horizontal triangle loads are solved. The best range of stiffness characteristic values can be summarized based on different curves about relative displacement, relative moment and relative shear. 4. According to the basic cycle and method of bottom shear walls, a method of estimating a reasonable number of shear wall is proposed; thus a simplified method is summed up.5. Finally, based on the references which have been collected, the comparison of several ways to choose the partial fixing of the tall-building has been done, and some suggestion has been given in this paper. The SATWE program is chosen in this paper which is used by most of engineers in our country. There are four models in this paper. The basement upper plate is chosen as the partial fixing in model 1 and 3, the foundation is chosen as the partial fixing in model 2 and 4.These models are compared in several aspects such as dynamic character, deformation character and stress character. The rigidity of model 1 and 3 is bigger than model 2 and 4, while the top shift and self-vibration cycle is smaller; the inner force of the upper structure varies obviously, but influence others'floors little.
