The concrete-filled thin-walled steel tube which adopted in engineering can economize steel materials and lower the cost of the engineering. But local buckling may occur on the thin-walled steel tubular before ultimate capacity because of the using thin-walled steel tube. So we must research the influence of local buckling to the capacity of concrete-filled thin-walled steel tube. This paper presents a finite element method(FEM) model for the analysis of concrete-filled thin-walled steel tube based on ANSYS. The elastic-plasticity model is used to describe core concrete which is modified by Liuwei and bilinear elastic-plasticity model is used to describe the concrete-filled thin-walled steel tube under axial compression. Analysing and comparing test result with numeration anastomeses will, which testifies the feasibility of numeration method. This paper mainly research the static behavior of the concrete-filled thin-walled steel tube, review the influence of its capacity because of the factors including H/d ratio,d/t ratio and local buckling etc. The parameters analysis indicates that H/d,d/t and local buckling are the most significant effect factors. This paper advise that the number of d/t can suitably magnify in our standard. Betterment the formula for squareness concrete-filled thin-walled steel tube.
