In nowadays, environmental pollution and energy shortages has become two major crises to human survival, how to solve this problem has become the subject of all mankind. In this context, environmental protection and energy conservation as the main features of green buildings and the corresponding air conditioning system emerged, such as water source heat pump system and ice storage system. In recent years, it made a lot of research in water source heat pump and ice storage technology, but they are from single technical proceed problems also single. For instance, ice storage only solve peak load shifting electricity problems, heat pump technology adjustable energy structure. Integrating the two applications, optimizing the design, achieving comprehensive energy saving system, are the purpose and significance of the research.First introduced basic principle, workflow of water source heat pump combining with ice storage system and made a brief analysis of the system on energy consumption and environmental impact. Then take a water source heat pump combined with ice storage engineering as a research object, using DeST-C software to simulate the hourly air-conditioning load, draw out the theatre air-conditioning load distribution frequency Figure. To a minimum annual total cost of the Ice storage system as a objective function, mathematical model to determine the optimal storage rate, and obtained relational curves between ice-storage rate and the initial investment as well as the operating cost, with electric price policy of project location and building load characteristics and air-conditioning load distribution frequency figure. Further do some analysis and research in operation conditions in all the typical strategy of the system. Finally use dynamic economic evaluation method, considering capital time value, demonstrate that the system has good economic and social benefits by comparing optimized water source heat pump combined with ice storage air conditioning system and conventional air conditioning system.
