Spacecraft project is a complex engineering, and the study of spacecraft charging effects is one of the foundational jobs for ensuring spacecrafts'operation. As one of the most important factors of affecting the spacecrafts'safety, space environment effects have been gotten wide attention, such as the radiation dose effect, single particle effect and so on. But the charging effects have got little attention, and several satellites have gotten in trouble with the cause, for example one high energetic electron enhancement event in April, 2010 has made many Chinese satellites abnormally for the charging and discharging of the spacecraft. There are some reasons for the cases, including the weak studying about Chinese spacecrafts charging effects, the shortages of the basic knowledge and analyzing ability on the charging effects, and ambiguous of requirement about reliability design. Basing on the wide study, the article gives the basic concepts of charging effects, analyzing means, regulations of reliability work, the ways of test validating, and the flow of reliability jobs. The second part of the article tells the growing history of spacecrafts'reliability, the basic concept and major contents of reliability. The third section illustrates the basic concept of spacecrafts'charging and its effects. Then the fourth and fifth part pays attention on analyzing ways and design requirements of reliability. The last two parts separately gives the test validating means, working flow and verified methods. The article firstly illustrates the reliability work about spacecraft products'charging effect in China. I hope the article can make a contribution to Chinese reliability work.
