Vehicular Stop&Go Cruise Control system aiming at the city complicated traffic situation is developed on the base of traditional Adaptive Cruise Control system. By the control of driving and breaking, the Stop&Go Cruise Control system achieves automatic control of vehicle's stop and starts, this will reduce the operating fatigue of the driver which caused by frequently stop and start the vehicle in city traffic, and also improve the safety of the vehicle.Relative to gasoline engine drive vehicle, the motor drive vehicle not only have high speed of response, easy to control, but also have the low speed-high torque feature, which especially suitable for frequently stop and start work condition.Aiming the non-linear problem exist in vehicle longitudinal dynamics characteristic, while establish the vehicle dynamic model under motor drive work condition, this paper lead in inverse model of vehicle longitudinal dynamic system to offset the non-linearity of the vehicle dynamic system. This method not only can simulate the whole running progress of the vehicle response the dynamic characteristics of the system, but also give consideration to accuracy and simplicity. On control system designing, according to the actual situation and running information that can gets, a new kind of control system model has been proposed based on the analysis productions of the advantage and disadvantage of stop and goes cruise arithmetic at domestic and overseas. Then deduce and model each module according to the theory of kinematics.Finally establish vehicle dynamics model, control system model in Simulink and prove the correctness of the model by simulation experiment.The mainly innovation of this paper is the combination of motor model and vehicle dynamic model, and put forward a new kind of control system model according to the actual stop and go work condition.
