It is becoming more necessary for the human to develop the new energy industry to ease the harsh situation at present, when the world is facing the two serious: one is deficiency of petroleum resources, the other is the environmental pollution. The hybrid electric vehicle can diversify the energy flow with two energy source. It has the potential in reducing emissions and fuel consumption, it will be the breakthrough point of the automobile in new energy industry.This paper takes IEVCO as the platform for the development, modify the former power construction and assemble the needed part, finally accomplish the analysis of the vehicle power parameters and energy management strategy. The full context is divided into three parts:First, according to the whole project design and usage of the vehicle, the paper adopt parallel powertrain with single-axis for the HEV(Hybrid Electrical Vehicle), and list the working modes. According to the design configuration of dynamics, it carries out parametric matching and chooses the powertrain configuration, build the configuration models by mean of the MATLAB/Simulink, along with the analysis of dynamics characteristic of parts and the related test data, then provide the powerfull tools for simulation research of the parameters and energy management strategy.Second, it expatiates working modes discriminant and control strategy, works out the needed torque distribution between engine and motor with the logic-gate control strategy, finally the paper verify the feasibility and reliability of proposed control strategy with prototyping tests.Finally, the paper propose energy management strategy based on fuzzy theory, expatiates the construction and operating principle of whole control system, then build and simulate the vehicle models with two different control strategy. Finally it carries out the sensitivity analysis of the parameters with fuel consumption based on fuzzy energy management strategy, which provide the reference for improvement of vehicle.
