Steel sheeting and OSB board is a newly developed lightweight floor. The steel frame and light floor structure, which is composed of the lightweight floor board as level structure and the steel framework as a load-bearing structure, is a light weight and new green residential structure. This paper uses static pushover and dynamic elastic-plastic method to analyze the structure behavior of the seismic performance.Firstly, the paper designs a multi-storey and a small high-level structure of steel frame and light floor.After preliminary design and adjustment,the paper determines the size of structural members.Secondly, this paper uses the SAP2000 software to analyze the two steel frame and light floor structure on Pushover.under the four lateral loading,the paper uses capacity spectrum method to get load-displacement curves,the plastic hinge generated sequence and the weakest position of the structure.Then the paper summarizes the influence of the pushover curve and the plastic hinge location of the hinge sequence under the different lateral load patterns.Considering preventing the rare eight octave earthquake intensity,obtains the structure's performance point and the top structure's maximum displacement and maximum angular displacement between layers on performance points,and evaluates seismic performance under the rare eight octave earthquake of the structure.Finally, this paper uses SAP2000 software to analyze the dynamic elastic-plastic time history on both structures.Selected EL-Centro earthquake waves,Lanzhou waves and Shanghai artificial waves which is transformed by the TAFT,calculated the displacement curves of the top floor and the maximum story drift angle in the eight rare earthquake,the paper compares the result of the dynamic nonlinear time process analysis and the nonlinear static analysis,and summers up the advantages and disadvantages of two analysis methods.
