Multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure is a new form of energy-saving and environment-friendly building structures, novel, light weight, good mechanical performance and ease of construction, high economic efficiency. However, our steel buildings is rather late, especially the development of multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure is relatively backward, still in the exploratory stage, lacking relevant technology and personnel, foreign advanced technology and experience is also difficult to apply to our country directly.The research of this paper provides some suggestions for the seismic design of multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure.This paper studies the multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure system from seismic performance, using ordinary steel frame-supporting structure system for comparative research methods, Mainly in the following aspects:1. It introduces the characteristics of the multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure system, the history and present situation of the development of steel construction, summarizing several common structure and its characteristics of steel construction. using the light steel floor and wall panels and supporting structure is arranged on the light steel wall.not only has the performance advantages of the framework-support structure of the system, but improve the level of industrialization of the production structure, greatly accelerating the construction schedule.2. It describes the development of steel building seismic analysis theory from the static theory, the dynamic theory, performance-based seismic design of the three stages of the state. It illustrates the basic method for seismic design of building structures.It describes the characteristics of SAP2000 finite element software and the basic theory of pushover analysis method.3.Taking a 15-story steel structure for example, establish the multi-storey and high-rise light steel structures and general steel frame-support structure of the two models by the use of finite element analysis software SAP2000.modal analysis,response spectrum analysis and linear time history analysis get different seismic response of two vibration period, top displacement, story drift, maximum acceleration.Then Pushover analysis of multi-storey and high-rise buildings of light steel structure take into account conditions on four analysis of the structure of multi-case and rare earthquake, getting top displacement, base shear and distribution of plastic hinges,giving the seismic performance of tall steel multifaceted evaluation.Finally, it is concluded that the multi-storey and high-rise light steel structure meets the requirements of the specification and the comprehensive benefit is higher.
