Turbo molecule pump is a kind of precision high-speed rotary vacuum pump momentum transfer, and its rotor is heart of the turbo molecule pump, which determines the whole machine's pumping performance and time interval of major overhaul.The manufacture quality and accuracy of the profile of the rotor blade will directly affect safety, security, economic operation for the whole machine. Turbine Rotor structural manifested mainly in the larger number of impeller and compression of intensive distribution. Thus in the turbine rotor design and processing, it has a Very high technical requirements. For a long time the traditional processing rotor levels of the manufacturing process impeller can not effectively ensure the rotor's safe operation. In recent years, the manufacturing sector has been exploring molecular pump using 5-axis NC machining overall rotor. In NC machining process of the blades, a step called "trial machining" is still required for the verification and modification of the process procedure and NC programming. This is not only cost very high but also lower the productivity.Digital machining simulation technology is a powerful tool to solve these problems, which can simulate the process of machine moving and cutting on the computer.From the analysis turbo molecular pump exhaust characteristics of the principle and structure, this paper has combined optimum design method, optimized the geometric parameters of Leaves combination. Then based on UG CAD system established the turbine rotor geometry model of the overall structure. In analyzing the overall structure of the rotor, taking the 5-axis NC machining process as the start, mainly study single-stage impeller 5-axis NC machining tool path, double turntable 5-axis machine tools, as well as post-processing error analysis and compensation, and other technical content. Based on these technologies and research links, on the basis of UG CAM system explored how to achieve the overall turbo molecular pump rotor cutting CNC machining simulation and machine simulation.Digital machining simulation for multi-axis NC machining of the whole turbine rotor is realized by mapping of the practical NC process in the virtual machining environment, which is used to verify the NC programming and processing before actual manufacturing. By computer simulation of machining we can check the correctness and rationality of NC programming, and avoid the collision between machine tool and blade or fixture. It is a technology basis for guaranteeing the safety of technics system and the quality of blades, evaluating and optimizing manufacturing plan. In this way, the period of blade manufacturing can be shortened, manufacturing cast can be decreased, and the quality of blades and machining efficiency can be improved. It is of great significance in improving the manufacture technology of molecule pump in our country and making our hydraulic turbine manufacturer's technology up to International advanced technology level.
