Pressure Flowmeter is a kind of common used flow computation meter, it's research and use has been standardization and mature. But since the development of technology and the lack of energy year by year, we have a strong need of the performance of Flowmeter. Peoples find and research, more and more new type of nonstandard Flowmeters have come forth. But their research may be not enough. The main purpose of this article is to discuss the optimization of prevalent V-cone nonstandard Flowmeter design.We use FLUENT of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software to simulate different kinds of V-cone figure and different current, and use planar method. Record data,coordinate data and analyze data, then give the optimization of V-cone Flowmeter design result and find some low and tide. At a certain extent, this method can instead of a mass of experiment.We use the optimization of V-cone Flowmeter design result to complete the engineering map. Consult the engineering map to complete three-dimensional model, then use FLUENT to simulate this three-dimensional model. Give the Outflow coefficient curve, and compare with experimental calibration values. We also analyze the influence of support pole at especial V-cone Flowmeter.We use ANSYS to give some structural stiffness analyze. Give the biggest stress area, and the number of the biggest deformation to discuss the reliability and accuracy of V-cone Flowmeter at strong flow field condition.
