City gas pipeline network system is the city an important part of public facilities is one of the Modernization of the signs, bearing on the daily lives of thousands of families. Dongying City natural gas pipeline running through the decades, some of the aging pipeline network lines, corrosion perforation phenomenon frequently. Part of the gas pipeline network cable theft is serious, gas loss rate, gas difficult to protect users, unauthorized users regional leakage serious, serious security risks. Part of the pipe network is unreasonable, the pipeline operating pressure is not balanced, gas can not meet the living requirements. Therefore, in order to protect the residents in Dongying City, production and daily life needs, the need for Dongying City to transform natural gas pipeline network, pipeline network structure optimization, increasing the pipe network utilization, improve the pipe network construction and operation of the economic benefits, while saving investment residents to ensure safe and stable oil to use natural gas.In this paper, Dongying city gas network to establish a mathematical model to determine the optimal objective function to compare the performance of the algorithm select the appropriate optimization method to determine the pipe network using genetic algorithm optimization. In this paper, combined with genetic algorithm previously used for pipe network optimization experience in the use of genetic algorithm is proposed for pipe network layout and the diameter of the integrated optimization method, we apply this method in Dongying City gas pipe network optimization, the final analysis with examples a pipe network using genetic algorithm optimization of performance and convergence.
