Design And Implementation Of Remote Wireless Ecg Monitoring Terminal

The traditional Holter has some disadvantages in monitoring ECG: Some of the traditional Holters are made up of an ordinary 8-bit or 16-bit microcontroller, so they are limited to the computing ability and not good at analysing ECG to have little impact on the diagnosis; Some of the traditional Holters can't monitor ECG for a long time because of limited storage space; Most of the Holters can't transmit the data in real time, with the result that it is not conducive to treat heart disease in time that the analysis of the ECG data are often delayed for several days.In response to these deficiencies, this paper designs a new type of portable ECG monitor which uses CDMA chip to transmit ECG data in real time and has Arm microprocessor as the core chip, Linux as the software platform. This monitor is low-cost, portable, real-time, etc. Our work contains the following aspects: Design of the hardware design, including designing and implementing the ECG conditioning circuit, the controlling circuit, the wireless transmission circuit with S3C2440A as the microprocessor; Design of the system software actually is establishing a software platform with Linux operating system, including designing the Bootloader of the terminal, transplanting Linux kernel, creating a cramfs file system as the root file system and designing the A/D device driver; Design of the application software, including displaying the ECG on LCD, pretreatment for ECG displaying, ECG analysis, ECG transmitting and so on.The portable ECG monitor can collect and diagnose the user's ECG data without restricting the movement of the user; the user can know his/her health status through the LCD screen at any time; the monitor keeps in touch with hospital through the CDMA wireless network and Internet, so it realizes analyzing the user's ECG in real time and treating the user in time.
