Researchers often take the methods of establish model and calculation to study the torsional vibration of vehicle driveline. Little people take the test methods to study the torsional vibration of vehicle driveline. However, using the test methods are the efficient way for the research of torsional vibration of vehicle driveline,it can more truly get the situation of torsional vibration of vehicle driveline.In order to taking test methods to research the situation of torsional vibration in vehicle driveline。According to the characteristic of working,analyzed the function and requirement of test-bed,designed the total blue print of the test-bed,showed the essential principles,function and the most important structure。Accomplished the test software by writed the program in the environment of MATLAB,the software have the function of DAQ,display,disposal,save and calculation etc. Because the signal of torsional vibration are complex, edited the module of signal analysis, which include FFT,power spectral analysis,1/3 octave spectra.Compare with the insult analyzed by the test system of B&K, indicated the exactness of the program. The last,identify method of damping torsional vibration in vehicle driveline was studied in this paper, introduce the principle of identification, take the test method to indentified the damping of vehicle driveline.
