Today, multi-dimensional traffic is a mature urban infrastructure in city. Undergone a qualitative leap bid farewell to the backward lighting equipment in lighting equipment, Lighting system gradually focuses on the reliability, ease of maintenance and so on.Although our multi-dimensional traffic lighting has made great achievements, but there are still some problems to be solved, Such as the light source and lighting poor choice, poor tolerance lamps, unreasonable lighting, pole spacing properly, power consumption is relatively large, on the road intersection, curve and ramp lighting is not enough attention etc.people have higher requirements of outdoor lighting,combined with the world's energy, especially electricity tension, causing people to the conflict between requirements and increasing energy. In order to maximize the energy and create a good environment of outdoor lighting for people. Lighting design principle is that with the appropriate light and the right way to invest in the right place at the right time. The main task of road lighting is to improve transport efficiency and reducing traffic accidents, the relations are very important, The road lighting is one of the main part of outdoor, lighting energy consumption is vary larger. So, people should find the best golden point between lighting quality and energy consumption.Status for road lighting, to study road lighting following aspects in this thesis.
