Road and Bridge as an important part of road traffic, the quality of the merits of its decision whether to safe and reliable road transport. In many medium and small span bridges, reinforced concrete bridge occupied with certain advantages and there has been increasing trend. However, with the service of growth, poor environment, the growing traffic and road transport which is often advocated to improve the standard of vehicle load, a significant number of bridges is becoming a dangerous bridge. Therefore, how to quickly assess the carrying capacity of the old bridge and understand bridge in the test loads of actual working condition in the bridge detection. Distinguishing the bearing capacity and the bridge structure operation state is very important.In this paper, based on static test parameters selection and analysis, and the requirement of "Code for Design of Highway Reinforced Concrete and Prestressed Concrete Bridges and Culverts" (04), this paper has proposed a test based on based on static test and modified by structure stiffness and reinforcement ratio to quantitatively assess the in servie RC bridge carrying capacity evaluation methods. Choosing a suitable calculating bridge in operation state is not the same as the bimorph stiffness calculation method of load transverse distribution. So that, full-bridge load capacity assessments can turn into a single beam capacity assessment.Through analysising model test data which is in the different load levels and different crack cases, verify the evaluation methods of bearing capacity of the accuracy of the calculated value equivalent stiffness. The single static loading analysis shows that the capacity assessment equivalent stiffness method calculated the accuracy of the name of the final amendments of the beam steel ratio to assess the predicted single-beam bending deformation control moment Mf, crack control moment Ms and intensity control moment Mu to complete a quantitative assessment of bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beams of the process. Using transverse distribution model correction method theory to predict the film cracked beam model of the bridge transverse load distribution factors, will assess the carrying capacity of the whole bridge is transformed into a single beam of the bearing capacity assessment. Through single beam and the model test verification, the evaluation method are accurate and reliable.
