Applied Study Of Hard Grade Asphalt Used For Thin Overlay Of Asphalt Pavement

In recent years, China's high-grade asphalt pavement were damaged very early, rutting and other diseases occur more frequently on asphalt road surface. How to repair the early damage of asphalt pavement surface has been the focus of the content of the researchers. Thin overlay project can improve the surface features of asphalt pavement and greatly extend the life of the road. Domestic and overseas use rigid asphalt for asphalt pavement overlay engineering widely. For failure phenomena of asphalt pavement, many researchers are familiar with this effective measures. So this paper studies the application of rigid asphalt on the thin overlay, which is an important development of application and reference to the role of academic value.For the technical requirements of thin-layer overlay, this article focus on the road performance of hard asphalt used on the thin overlay and studied the pavement performance of hard grade asphalt,such as high temperature performance,low temperature performance,water stability and anti-fatigue performance. This is not only provide economic and reliable guarantee for the quality of asphalt overlay,reduce the early damage of roads, extend the life of roads and ensure the smooth and safety of traffic,but also greatly enhance the level of asphalt pavement structural design and material application technology and promote transport and economy develop quickly. In addition, combined with a large number of test road construction, the construction technology of hard asphalt of thin overlay were Summed up. Hard asphalt used on thin overlay has a more significant technical features and economic advantages. This essay will provide a scientific basis for thin overlay of national asphalt pavement which use hard asphalt and provides a solid basis for the theory and practice of norm application for the hard asphalt.
