With the progress of technology and the development of new materials, bridge structures are becoming larger and more flexible and lower damping. The bridge structures are sensitive to wind, the dynamic response of wind-induced vibration will be the factors of restricting the rigidity and intensity and stability. The aerodynamic elasticity has been the emphasis of bridge engineering and wind engineering. Vortex resonance is easy to happen in low wind velocity. It is vibration with limited amplitude, not same to flutter which will lead bridge to destroy, but this vibration will affect the intensity and fatigue of bridge and reduce the comfort level and traffic safety, because the vortex resonance happen always in lower velocity. So, it is very important to research the vortex resonance response of bridge with large span.Vortex resonance wind tunnel tests of gangzhu'ao Bride and Xiazhang Bridge were introduced in the thesis. Tests were done in uniform flow with different wind angles. The vortex resonance responses of these two tests were compared. In addition, vibration attenuation performances of central slotting ratio and web slope and wind barriers were investigated, which can direct the wind resistance design of similar bridges.
