| With the development of project cost management in China, its management system has been improving. There are some problems about the cost during the construction of medium and small highways, and the unit constructing rate of the bridge is generally decided by the local government, especially the bridge types are determined by the employers. Because the costs schemes of different bridges are not compared to each other to get the best economical and reasonable one, the investment is often out of limits.This article is to study the project costs of the medium and small span beam bridge in Weifang area and systematically discuss the project cost by chronological order. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the present condition of the project cost management is discussed, then, the problems in the documentation of the project cost are pointed out, especially in the bridge construction history. A thorough study is carried out on the basis of bridge project costs, the procedure, the content, and some problems and the differences of the documentation of bridge project costs between China and foreign countries are paid attention to. Secondly, the main factors affecting medium and small span beam bridge cost are analyzed, such as the choice of substructure and superstructure, the selection of unit price of manpower and material and the construction quantity of different bridges. Thirdly, comparison on the project cost of different bridges is presented, including the costs of different span bridges, the cost of different superstructure and substructure. Finally, some suggestions on the optimization of medium and small span beam bridge are deduced from the viewpoint of project cost.The results in this article can give reference to the bridge design and bridge management. |
