Formation and capacity testing are two important process for the secondary lithium battery production procedure. And the battery charge & discharge system are the key parts for related production equipment. Because of the huge amount of the equipment, normal formation and capacity testing machines cause not only serious energy cost problem, but also cause the product quality problem due to the heat which comes from the machines. Moreover, this part of heat can also effect the temperature environment in the workshop. This problem is a real difficult problem for the lithium battery manufacture for a long time.This dissertation is base on the actual production requirement for Dongguan Amperex Technology Limited, which is a famous domestic polymer lithium battery manufacture. The purpose is to develop one set of effective energy saving type charge and discharge system for lithium battery. On one side it can save much energy, and on the other side it can help the enterprise resolve the product quality and workshop environment temperature problem which caused by the heat from the formation and capacity testing equipments.This dissertation is directed by energy saving, based on the charge and discharge tache during secondary lithium battery production procedure. It will analyze the energy consuming condition of the charge module and discharge module for the normal lithium battery charge & discharge system, and it will introduce the energy saving principium and some kinds of effective energy saving mode. Considering the feasibility in the actual production procedure, this dissertation emphasisly introduces eletricity net feedback tpye energy saving mode, and then makes the analysis for the sample machine's testing data. The data shows this type of energy saving method can get effective result. Of course, due to the design modification of the hardware, there is a few negative problem for the new charge and discharge system. For example, the effect to the testing precision and the power quality. This article analysis the root cause and related solution for the problems.
