It is an effective way to enhance resist-lateral rigidity of the high-rise building by setting strengthened story, which is used widely in the building programs. As a new type of high-rise building modality, Oblique crossing lattice structure has good mechanical behavior and streamlined architectural appearance, that has been adopted more in landmark building. Because horizontal load is the main control factor in the high-rise building, resist-lateral rigidity of structure used to be not enough, especially for the build with more high height. So it is very necessary to research on the oblique crossing lattice structure with strengthened story.In order to study on the control effect of strengthened story in oblique crossing lattice structure, this paper would discuss about the influence of strengthened story on oblique crossing lattice structure and research on the mechanical behavior of that structure with strengthened story setting viscous damper. Compare with the optimization between before and after, it would try to make some meaningful reference for the oblique crossing lattice structure using in building program.Firstly a three dimensional modal of oblique crossing lattice structure with steel tube is designed in this paper, which is 64 story with a square plan. According to the variation for oblique angle, position and number of strengthened story, the mechanical behavior for response spectrum method and Chinese2002 wind load of the structure with strengthened story is worked over by using the structure analysis software ETABS. Then several plans are choose in the time history analysis of earthquake and wind, the reaction result of which is contrasted with each other. Finally, after viscous dampers setting in the structure, we would preliminary make clear how it will work in the energy dissipation-seismic reduction.The conclusion can be drawn that, the oblique angle is very important for the structure mechanical behavior and the control effect of strengthened story. It can enhance resist-lateral rigidity and reduce structure displacement by setting strengthened story, but a new weak story would be formed for the inhomogeneous vertical rigidity. The condition of structure under force loading could be improved because of viscous dampers, coordinating the structure deformation but making story shear have a sudden change. The engineer must handle the unfavorable problem mentioned above and guarantee building safety in the structure design program.
