When subjected to rare earthquakes,the reinforced concrete frame structure will undergo greater elastoplastic deformation,and the deformation will be concentrated in the weak layer.The viscous damper has a good damping effect and has been widely used in practical engineering.For reinforced concrete frame structures,the arrangement of viscous dampers is generally arranged from the bottom to the top of a certain span or several spans of the structure.This arrangement uses a large number of viscous dampers.Compared with steel frame structures,the inter-story deformation of reinforced concrete structures is relatively small,especially for reinforced concrete frame structures that undergo shear deformation,the inter-story deformation of the upper part of the structure will become smaller and smaller.The viscous damper is a speed-type damper.Whether it can be distributed along the height of the reinforced concrete structure can fully exert the damping effect of the damper,it needs further study.The weak layer is the floor where the nonlinear deformation of the reinforced concrete frame structure is concentrated.Arranging viscous dampers on the weak layer can improve its damping efficiency.This paper mainly studies the mechanical performance of the structure when viscous dampers are arranged in thin layers of reinforced concrete frame structures,and compares them with dampers.The main research work of this paper includes:(1)For the seismic response of the concrete frame structure with viscous dampers arranged on the weak layer,the motion equation of the structure is given,which is solved by programming,and the influence of the changes of damper parameters C andα on the seismic performance of the structure is studied.The displacement response results of the structure are compared with the finite element analysis results,and the two are more consistent;(2)The finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to establish an 8-story reinforced concrete space frame structure,and the location of the weak layer of the structure is found through the seismic response structure under rare earthquakes.The viscous dampers are arranged on the weak layer,and the dynamic time history analysis under frequent and rare earthquakes is carried out.Compared with the uncontrolled structure and the damping structure full of dampers,the results show that the viscous damping is arranged for the weak layer.The device has a good shock absorption effect on the structure.(3)Adopt a viscous damper arrangement mechanism with a higher displacement amplification coefficient,and optimize the shock absorption structure by amplifying the working efficiency of the damper.The optimized structure is subjected to time history analysis under rare earthquakes and compared with uncontrolled structures and full-flooded structures.The results show that the optimized structure has a good damping effect and greatly reduces the number of dampers used.
