With the development of Flexible AC Transmission System Technology(FACTS), various kinds of shunt reactive power regulators play an important role in reactive power compensation, voltage control and so on.However, with more and more shunt reactive power regulators coming up,the situation that various kinds of shunt reactive power regulators are used in the same bus would spring up inevitably. Therefore,the problems of interactive influence and coordinated control among the devices have to be considered.Regarding the combinations of TSC+DSTATCOM or SVC+STATCOM as the research subjects, the mutual effect between the two devices in each combination is analysed in this paper. Coordinated control between the two devices is studied as well.TSC and DSATATCOM are two important shunt reactive power regulators for reactive power compensation in low voltage power system.Through the analysis of the single-phase equivalent circuit of hybrid reactive power compensation system,it can be seen that the difference of response speed between TSC and DSTATCOM is the main reason that influences DSTATCOM's performance advantages in hybrid reactive power compensation system.In order to eliminate response speed's impact to DSTATCOM's performance, a two level coordinated optimization control strategy based on Multi-Agent is proposed.In order to verify the improved performance of the system,a simulation in the test system has been done,the results show that the idea that two level coordinated optimization control strategy is used to eliminate the influence of the different response speed between TSC and DSTATCOM is successful. It improves the dynamic performance of the system as well.The mixed var compensation system composed of STATCOM and SVC is another key to the study in this paper. It can be seen from the simulation that the values of conpling reactance and short-circuit capacity of the grid are the two significant elements of interactive influence between STATCOM and SVC.In order to eliminate the mutual conpling and realize reasonable allocation of reactive power between the SVC and STATCOM,a coordinated control method based on slope regulation is proposed.It ensures STATCOM have enough capacity to deal with the transient disturbance through the regulating effect of slope.A simulation in the test system with SVC and STATCOM has been done. The results of simulation show that this coordinated control method eliminates the influence between SVC and STATCOM efficiently. It ensures a reasonable allocation of reactive power in the compensation system,and the dynamic performance of voltage control is also improved.
