Today as a global trend to the energy conservation and emission reduction, How to deal with the high energy consumption-large diameter valve in fluid'pipelines to implement energy saving and optimization design had became a focus of large diameter valve technology. But the existing large diameter valve still has the features of larger energy consumption, bigger pressure loss, poorer sealing performance and so on. Therefore, exploring the optimization design method of making the large diameter valve with lower energy consumption, less pressure loss, better sealing performance were very urgent in this development and energy strain market.The article based on colleges and universites scientific research project [09C594] in Hunan province, the method of combining the finite element static analysis,ADAMS dynamic analysis and performance testing was used statics and dynamic simulation analysis on the double direction flow metal sealing large diameter rotating ball valve(DMLRV). The main research work and innovations are as follows:(1) Theoretical analysis DMLRV's working principle and characteristics, It lays a solid foundation for DMLRV's statics and dynamic simulation analysis.(2) Valve spindle of being turned off DMLRV,the overall strength and stiffness in the positive and negative effects is analyzed with the Finite Element Analysis, and the valve plate is optimized. Results show that, the closed DMLRV during working condition can satisfy the function of sealing.(3) DMLRV's dynamic simulation analysis shows that it beared less the opened torque than the closed torque; When the speed of water was 5m/s and when DMLRV is opened, the torque applied on the spindle is not bigger than 5500 N·m;And when DMLRV is closed, the torque applied on the spindle is not bigger than 4650 N·m, otherwise, the rotating speed of valve plate is too fast, when water flow rapid impact on valve plate,it cause water hammer phenomenon.In a word, t DMLRV not only has good sealing performance, but also has energy saving performance and flow regulation performance and also can save material.
