The Engine electronic control system has great influence on automobile speed and emission control .This thesis analyse engine behaviour, in order to reach the engine power, economy and emission performance optimal control, proposed two different control strategies in the open-loop control and closed-loop control system. Grey model is used to the open-loop control of EFI System, based on engine current operating parameters using the gray prediction method to predict the next run, this "pre-control" has less sampled-data and predictability strong, real-timing good, adaptability strong,etc. Fuzzy self-adaptive PID control method is applied to closed-loop control of EFI System, Grey model has both fuzzy control and PID control advantages, which has inaccurate model, robustness, high precision, fast response,etc., and will be beneficial to improve the efficiency of engine.
