PHC-Pile widely used in engineering construction field, has lots of advantages such as high bearing capacity,stable quality,fast construction speed, lower price, etc. However,the problem of interaction mechanism between bearing capacity value of prestressed piles and Pile-soil system has not yet been clearly explained,so it becomes an urgent problem in engineering field.Based on 3D numerical simulation method and combined with actual practical examples of prestressed concrete pipe project the interaction mechanism between prestressed piles bearing system and pile-soil was investigated into the basis and reference for prestressed piles engineering design. The two numerical analysis models which are based on prestressed piles on-site experiments were constructed. One model used a structural element, and the other used an interface element. Moreover, the deformation, bending moment and pile-soil interaction rules were discussed. The following results are reached.1) It is found from the simulation results that the computed results do agree well with the measured result before the applied vertical load increases up to the yield capacity. But when load is more than the value, the calculated value does not match gradually the measured value.2) The comparison of two simulation model results shows that the numerical model based on the interface element around the pile can simulate the pile-soil interactive relationship, and the simulation based on pile structural element has a simple process, but more complicated parameter settings. The results of two models both coincide with the on-site experiments data.
