| A thorny issue popping up in deep foundation pit construction is how to ensure the stable security and reasonable costs of the supporting structure of deep foundation pit. However, in the traditional design, the security as a sole index to evaluate the stability of the deep pit is unreliable. As a result, it is a tendency to put the reliability indicator into the pit projects.Conventionally, the security coefficient was treated as an evaluating index in the geotechnical engineering, but in fact it is only a constant value gained by definite information. As a matter of fact, it did not allow for the any objective variety in the designing. Moreover, a certain security coefficient means differently from one project to another and its value can not indicate the security of the project precisely. The thesis elaborates the fundamental theory of project reliability, points out demerits of traditional method and introduces the concept, significance and modeling method of reliability in the project.Through the probability analysis in one case, the failure probability of systematic multiple model can be worked out firstly, and then prove the scientific and necessity of reliability analysis by the method of security coefficient. All in all, this new method is of practical significance in designing and constructing the supporting system for the deep foundation pit projects. |
