Earth pressure, slope stability and bearing capacity of foundation are the three major classic problems in geotechnical stability analysis. They have internal connection with each other.The solution of slope stability and foundation bearing capacity is involving the calculating of earth pressure.They are all based on the same computing law.Firstly, by extending and modifying the method of critical slip field,We propose triangular slice method,a new numerical procedure and computing law basing on triangular slices are proposed for active and passive slip field . A computing program follows it.Then active and passive slip field of filling exerted only uniform load is numerically simulated by self- Programming numerical procedure, resulting in critical slip surface of soil and the distribution of active and passive earth pressure.The method of this paper is proved effectively with the almost similar earth pressure and critical slip surface by comparing with plasticity solution basing on slip field theory. By comparing with Coulomb solution & Sokolovscki Solution under soil weight with the same boundary conditions, The active and passive earth pressure of filling only exerted uniform load is verified unreasonably by directly using earth pressure coefficient under only soil weight. Meanwhile active and passive slip field under soil weight is also numerically simulated resulting in the distribution of active and passive earth pressure.This paper analyze the varied impact of angle of frictionδamong filling and retaining structure& internal friction angle on active and passive earth pressure coefficient as well as critical slip surface in detail.For some special circumstance,the simplied critical slip field method is proved effectively.Finally, by extending the method of critical slip field to the bearing capacity of foundation computing, we propose numerical method and simulation step of the upper-bounded solution in footing bearing capacity and critical slip mechanism. The numerical simulation methods of this paper is proved validly with the coherent Nc,Nq coefficient by comparing with theoretical solution,by computing footing bearing capacity coefficient Nγ,it shows that Nγdecreases correspondingly with the increasing of foundation width,especially when the cohesion is not equal to zero the rate of decline is significantly greater than the cohesion is equal to zero.
