Study On Urban Green Space System Planning Based On The Recreational Function

Recreation is considered as one of the main functions of the city. In the city, people need lots of open space in which they can relax and communicate with each other.And urban green space , which is the most important part of the open space , is no doubt the major carriers of people`s recreational life, especially the green parks have become the primary places in which people`s daily recreation activities carried out. The number, area and spatial distribution of the urban green space directly affect the recreational activities of urban residents, therefore, as a basic principle, making the recreational function of urban space system play a full role is an important guarantee for the normal operation of the city.From the recreation point of view , This paper defines the concepts of city recreation and urban green space system , reviews the study process of them , and analyzes the relevant planning cases which are based on the recreation point of view.And then the paper obtains the main factors of city recreation , which play a very important role in the urban space system planning .These factors are recreational demand, urban recreational resources, recreation carrying capacity and accessibility. Focus on these factors, the paper tries to find the planning ideas and planning methods of recreation-oriented urban green space system, and then ,it makes a preliminary exploration of urban green space system model that is based on recreational function. Finally, the paper takes the Yangzhou city as an example . Though deeply investigating the present situation of green space and city residents` recreational demand of Yangzhou ,on the basis of the current urban green space system planning the paper proposes the optimization strategy of recreation-oriented urban green space system of Yangzhou.Linking theory with practice, this paper preliminarily tries to combine the city recreation and urban green space planning, and explore the planning method. It proposes new ideas and new views of urban green space planning, which is a reference of other relevant planning.
