The environment is not only destroyed in the construction, but also polluted with the usage of highway. So the problems of ecological environment of the highway must be settled without delay.This paper based on the analysis of ecological restoration, studied the theoretical, principles, the role and mechanism of ecological restoration. Paper fouced on the design, technology and evaluation of ecological restoration of highway slope: Firstly, the design of ecological eestoration of the slope, cleared the ultimate goal of ecological restoration, studied the concept and principles of ecological restoration and the general idea of ecological restoration design in accordance with our national conditions, in order to guide the ecological restoration of highway slope; Through analyzing the principle of selection of plants, according to the principle of ecological restoration, studied different types of the design of landscape restoration, and combination of plants of highway slope; Introduced ecological restoration technology principles and construction of the slope detailed, analyzed the applicability of ecological restoration of slope detailed; Introduced ecological restoration of Ning-chang highway slop, by observing the fixed-point of Ning Chang highway slope, compeared ecological restoration effect and vegetation growth, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different ecological restoration techniques, the conclusion was that the early recovery of plant growth of geogrid was weaker than hanging on seeding, and with the change of time, hanging on seeding vegetation coverage has declined, grass coverage declined in the winter and restored stability gradually in spring; Finally applied AHP evaluation method to evaluat of the effect of ecological restoration, and then evaluated ecological restoration techniques of Ning Chang highway, from the comprehensive evaluation can be seen, the quality of slope vegetation from good to bad in the following order were: geogrid technology (sunside)>geogrid technology (nightside)>hanging on seeding>grass; In addition, from the analysis can see that the combined effect of ecological restoration of highway slope is mainly reflected in its ecological effectiveness. Therefore, from long-term benefits, ecological restoration of slope has enormous ecological, landscape, economic and social benefits.
