Radiant floor heating is a new type of emerging form of heating, because of its better comfort, energy efficiency and economy. With the energy crisis and environmental problems exacerbated, the research and application on this system become more important. With climate change and the improvement of people's life, heating need in Yangtze River region has become increasingly evident. Therefore, it is necessary to study on the form and the energy efficiency of radiant floor heating systems. Based on these problems, this paper will focus on the corresponding research on the radiant floor heating system in Wuhan.In this paper, the distribution of solar energy in the Yangtze River region is summed up from the research on the solar energy resources of the major cities across the country. Through the year hourly load simulation function of DeST(designer's simulation toolkits) software, the heating loads change can be summed up throughout the year bar chart ,and the statistics of the annual maximum hours of heat load and the maximum daily heat load can be calculated, from which we can determine system load and system operation programs. Focus on the research, a time-temperature control program can be decided from the further research. To solve the problem of low-vale electricity floor heating system, we developed a phase-change material through the experimental study, and successfully applied to low-vale electricity radiant floor heating experimental platform, which can get 36.6% cost savings in theory. In addition, the test data of floor heating system are analyzed to verify the feasibility of phase-change material for low-vale electricity floor heating system, which provide a certain reference for floor heating system design in the future.Finally, compared the two floor heating systems mentioned in the paper, this paper sums up the characteristics of two different system and provides the advice to promote the floor heating system. Combined with the characteristics of the two proposed floor heating systems, a multi-technical combination system of floor heating is designed for better comfort and energy efficiency, which provides the development direction for the future research, but the feasibility and economy of this system also requires further study.
