With the growing competition in the Chinese aluminum industry, the performance and quality requirements for the transportation vehicles of alcoa delicate also will increase. Chinalco Guizhou branch's Huaguang Technology licensing cars Truck series mainly include the anode transportation vehicle, the special cars for electrolytic aluminum slag, aluminum car carried water, electrolytes and other renewable powder tanker, etc. This paper aims at the stability of the anode transportation vehicle's steel structure, analyzing two crucial factors to quality of products-welding deformation and welding residual stress. Their presence not only affects the manufacturing process of welding structure, but also affects the performance of welded structure. Most of the welding deformation prediction is based on finite element analysis. However, welding is a very complex process. It involves many phenomena and parameters, which are instantaneity, uneven distribution, and strongly non-linear. Therefore, they are unable to give exact solutions to the welding process. This paper also introduces several methods to control welding deformation, such as anti-deformation method, parameters control, temperature control and system integrated analysis, etc.Welding is a complicated physicochemical process which involves in electromagnetism, heat transferring, metal meltin and freezing, phase-change, welding stress and deformation and soon. In order to get high quality welding structure, we have to control these factors.The existing design methods is improved and innovated on the basis of the anode vehicle imported from Japan in the 1990s. It is applied in the factory with good effect and can guarantee stable performance. However, it is difficult to control welding structural deformation in the process of manufacture. The overall manufacturing quality is greatly affected by manufacturing eng-ineering and assembling quality. For example, welding deformat- ion, the cutting plate stress concentrating on a partial fracture, the Fork Lift not synchronized, and so on. These problems concerning mechanical manufacturing and assembly quality are the bottleneck to be resolved in the manufacturing process. To reduce the deformation to the minimum scope, finding a good method of manufacture and quality control is the facing problems to be resolved.Strengthen quality management and working controls, reduce welding remnant pressure, effectively control strengthen steel structure's preventing fragile design, welding deformation and welding chink inside. Outside defect, raise all staffs's quality consciousness, these are effect measures to raise technology vehicle making quality.
