In the underground tunnel project and urban facility construction, the full-face rock boring machine (Tunnel Boring Machine, referred to TBM) to be quick by the boring speed, a high degree of mechanization, be conducive to environmental protection and the advantages of first-finishing, has been widely used. And, the disk cutter is the key part of the TBM, immediately influences rock-breaking ability, tunneling speed and economy of TBM. The cutting tools management of TBM is the main point in the TBM construction, in the TBM boring process, the time of cutting tool's replacement and the inspection accounts for the entire tunneling working hour about 30%.In order to make the cutting tool replacement time and the cutting tool inspection time achieve minimum, while ensuring reliability of cutting tool, and try our best to lengthen cutting tool's using life as far as possible, making it to achieve or to achieve the design value basically, reducing cutting tools change frequency; according to some reliability scope to carry on the reasonable forecast to the cutting tool wearing capacity, and make a reasonable district replacement to cutting tools. According to TB880E-boring machine in the Qinling Tunnel excavation example This article carries on the forecast of cutting tool's wearing capacity, provides reasonably the replacing knife distance. In this article, the main research content including:(1) It introduces disk cutter's structure, the broken rock mechanism and cutting tool's main failure mode, the analysis gets cutting tool's main failure mode is the wear.(2) Analyzing the tunneling data of the TB880E boring machine which working in the Qinling tunnel, obtains cutting tool's wearing capacity and broken rock arc length of some point on the cutting tool broken rock edge is proportional relationship. Solving the tool wear coefficient according to boring section distance's wearing capacity data of the TB880E boring machine in a Qinling tunnel, using wear coefficient forecasts cutting tool wearing capacity.(3) Carrying on the analysis of the existing cutting tool replacement and inspection form, obtaining the question which existing cutting tool replacement form does not consider the reliability. In order to increase cutting tool wear-resisting reliability of the existing replacement form, carries on changing the cutter tools on different district according to some reliability scope, provides the reasonable cutting tool maintenance cycle. Reducing the number of times of the parking in cutting tool replaces and improving the effective utilization of knife circle.Increase utilization efficiency of TBM.(4) Using Visual Basic establish procedure of cutting tool replaces cycle forecasting, realizing the fast and exact forecasting which the cutting tools replaces cycle.
