Tower crane, with the characteristics of high efficiency, large rotation radius and great lifting heigtht, today, widely used in the field of industry and civil buildings, has become a major equipment in the construction industry. Therefore, to maximize product development, it is becoming increasingly important to design the large-scale structure, in particular large-scale structure. Meanwhile we should provide a scientific basis for the detailed design by starting from the principles of design, building accuratly system model and determining the basic properties parameters.This thesis is take tower crane's horizontal boom support as the object of study, As the boom belongs to the hinged double elasticity support overhanging beam, and also belongs to the lattice girder of the multi-operating modes many crosswise loading and many axial loading, is very representative in the tower crane, so it is universal significance that carries on the computation and the analysis to it, and forms the calculation software.This article determined the computation model according to the primitive boom's structure model; Using the method of the unit force, has established the inner force calculation formula of supporting pionts under various operating modes combined with the elastic distortion of bearing point's; Based on the above, it established the boom's deflection curve as well as each host chord's inner force and the curve of stress under longitudinal and vertical bending of various operating modes, and analyzed the boom without consider the horizontal bending, thus it is proved that the longitudinal bending is unnegligible in the process of computation and carried on the exhaustive description to the entire boom support. According to the principle of the bending moment stress as well as the bending stress, determined the reasonable hanging position using the optimization design, on this basis, the thesis realizes parametrization design and integrates the entire computational process, optimization and the parametrization cartography with the VB.NET language programming.Based on the above work, the thesis has formed initially a set of complete computations and the optimization design software, and has carried on the computation to the example, it is the beneficial work for establishing the independent design system. At the same time, the work can contribute to the design of the tower crane in the future.
