Prestressed cable-arch structure is a large-span prestressed spatial structure system which is developed in the last decade, It is hybridized by arch and cables which create a self-balancing system, and can be used for roof, floor. The structure has the advantage of simple structure, reasonable stress, light weight, relatively big stiffness and stability of the system, convenient in manufacture and construction, easy transportation, as well as full of era flavor, etc. Therefore, it has been adopted in more and more applications in recent years, and it is also a typical rigid-flexible combination hybrid system of long-span spatial structures.This paper analyzed the eigenvalue buckling analysis and stability of the cable-arch structure in the plane using finite element soft package of ANSYS. The effects of cable on the ultimate load-carrying bearing capacity of prestressed cable - arch structure were investigated by using the Newton-Raphson interactions and arc-length method. The main research contents of this paper includes the following aspects:(1) Investigate the eigenvalue buckling analysis of the parabolic cable-arch structure under different cable layout, rise span ratio and load cases, then compare with the corresponding pure arch structure.(2) Make the analysis of the integral structure eigenvalue buckling analysis, get the final failure form and the ultimate load-carrying capacity of the structure. In this paper, based on analyzing the stability of parabolic cable-arch structure under different cable layout, rise span ratio and load cases, get the ultimate load-carrying capacity, and compare with the corresponding pure arch structure.(3) By changing the rise span ratio, load cases, initial prestress , bearing type and so on to investigate their influences on the elastic stability behavior of cable - arch structure...
