It is very vital to establish accurate mathematical models for improving the accuracy of analysis and effectiveness of control about power system. Although some simulation software has had abundant model library for stably analysis of Power system at present, because it lacks the actual service data, and have to apply the approximate typical parameters used in the calculation, and even use a rough model, which reduces the credibility of the results directly. In this situation, the thesis designs a suit of model identification equipment for power system, which has higher accuracy and reliability. The equipment consists of two parts:data acquisition card and the software of identification.Data acquisition card includes three parts:(1) Switching Power Supply, to ensure the stability of data acquisition card, we design switching power supply using LM2576 series chips; (2) Circuit of Data Acquisition, it achieves the acquisition of multiple simultaneous data by ADC chip-MAX1312. (3) Circuit of Central Controller, it controls collection, real-time storage and transmission of data by use of MSP4302274, and prepares data for identification software. Equipment is unique that circuit of data acquisition is independent of central controller. A central controller can deploy multiple circuits of data acquisition through the bus, according to the needs of acquisition.The software of identification is designed under MATLAB, which has powerful ability of calculation and toolbox to meet the data acquisition, processing and analysis of data, model identification and model verification. It can be very easy to achieve two-way communications between the computer and data acquisition card. What's more, the software can operate the software directly.Finally, this article has carried on a series of identification experiments such as the simple model and self-excitation system. We contrast the theoretical model and the identification model in the experiment, the error is so small that identification was reliable.
