With the progress of micro-electronics technology, control technology, power electric and modern computer technology, a new type of controllable speed drive mechanotronics system called Switched Reluctance Drive (SRD) system rises in the 1980's of last century. It becomes people's subject investigated because of its good performance. It is recognized to have the most potential development in the field of dynamoelectric vehicle driving by international dynamoelectric vehicle science and technology organization.Because of the nonlinearity of SRM and its power converter, the optimization of control parameters is a very complex problem. This paper derives the nature characteristic of optimum switch-angle strategy of SRM from the energy conversion of SRM. according to movement condition of the SRM , it also presents a method to change switch angle real-time. SRM works in the optimum condition, then it has realized angles optimal control.The paper uses an 8/6 pole, 100W SRMas the research object and designs the controller circuit, power circuit and control software system. The system contains the kernel with TMS320F2812 and the periphery parts, which are used to fulfill the rest function in controller circuit. The control SRM method adopted double close loop PI digital adjusting, sended out phase on-off signal, voltage PWM signal, current chopping signal and integrated the current and voltage protection signals to drive MOSFET.The software is compiled and debugged with C language under the platform CCS2.2. It adopts two-closed-loop control strategy. Meanwhile functions and design of every circuit are illuminated detailedly.
