The Research On Design Of The Architectural Grid

The grid approach is the architectural space,modeling architecture,a method is an important tool for supporting one of the architectural design,and all aspects of architectural design in close contact. However,construction in the theoretical part of the grid is still weak,though,in the architectural design play a supporting role in the grid contributed,but the theoretical sense,the system is not very good summary. This article is based on previous studies and experiences carried out on the basis of theoretical studies,mainly on the existing grid architecture to integrate the theory from various angles,people new theory after the excavation , to enrich the architectural design of the grid related theories.Papers from the following aspects of the construction grid discussed: first, from the analysis of early development of the grid beginning of the study brief history of exploration,study the role of early grid and the architectural design of the application and the various schools of modernism since the right of the grid research and development and utilization. Secondly, the basic overview of the grid issues discussed, from the form of a grid cell is divided into a grid dot grid, linear grids,surface grids and space-like grid that several types; to the grid intrinsic properties of the starting point,from the grid in the form and expressive level,summarized a grid of five characteristics: repeatability,regularity,developmental,abstract and expressive; to the basic role of the grid refinement summary arrive at the grid three major functions: positioning measurement,function and structure and ideographic composition.
