Infrared spectra analysis is a new detecting technology developing rapidly in recent years, with many good performances such as fast, lossless, remote manipulation, etc.. Many measured objects could be qualitative and quantitative determination with unique infrared absorption peak forming by these objects absorb infrared spectra. With fourier transfer and advanced electronic circuit design, the thermal infrared spectrometer becomes miniaturization, portable and is available for mineral analysis.A/D conversion and data acquisition system, control system, step-motor drive and control system, communication system in thermal infrared spectrometer is introduced in this paper. The a/d conversion and data acquisition system bring integrated chip CS5381 and MCU(Micro Processor Unit) to work together. The result of a/d converting with ADC is transferred to MCU to preserve and is uploaded to upper (host) computer. The core of the control system is TMS320F2812 DSP which has high performance and low power, coordinating with external circuit to finish signal acquisition, calculation, transmission and preservation. It uses the integrated chip LS8297 united with L298 in step-motor drive and control system and achieves the result of step-motor running with constant speed, steady and multi-bit subdivide.Every module follows the basic rules of electronic circuit design. Through repeated strict test, all designs of this paper have achieved the anticipated result. It can complete the conversion, acquisition, transmission and preservation of the equipment signal, and prepare well for the later experiments.
