As the reclamation system of Heilongjiang province was an large area, and heilongjiangprovince soybean acreage accounts for the planting area of nearly50%. It is difficult to monitorsoybean planting status because of the large areas of planting soybeans. If sow failures cannot bediscovered in time when precision seeder working in the process of planting operation, it willlead to severe losses. To avoid this kind of situation, under the precondition of the developmentof precision agriculture technology, seeds embedded CAN wireless monitoring system wasdesigned. In the process of the design in this system, the wireless communication technology,embedded technology and CAN bus technology were joined.To set up of the embedded platform for seeding monitoring system need to understand thefunction of the monitoring system, then every module function of the system need to beintegrated designed, which can improve the reliability and stability of the system. In the processof seeding monitoring system design, in order to complete the design of the system better,Windows CE was chosen as the operating system of this design. Embedded computer is based onembedded technology software development platform, using VB.NET for embedded computerprogramme can realize the function of seeding condition monitoring.CAN bus technology was regarded as core seeding monitoring system in this design. Throughthe information collected from CAN bus seeding sensor field, after the dealing with theintelligent CAN node, then spread to the whole of CAN bus network. The unique message IDwas regarded as identification sign, and transmitted to surveillance systems which established bythe master node, then the master node received message and finish resolution of thecorresponding processing, eventually show real-time accurate seeding actual situation in themonitor screen. It makes the driver see the tractor mounted seeder sowing directly from the mainterminal nodes in the operating room.In the process of precision seeder seeding operation, it must install different testing equipmentfor the different assignments, in order to get different operating datas, and analyze the structureand characteristics of the detection system. To solve the problem of terrible work environmentand wiring trival, based on the advantage of wireless communication technology without wiring,the bluetooth wireless communication technology and3g wireless communication were selected, then to the upper machine and lower machine for data collection and transmission respectively.Bluetooth technology provides communication service to the embedded computer and slavecomputer, and3G wireless communication technology is service for the communication betweenthe lower machine and desktop computer monitoring.
