Study On The Color - Leaf Plant Resources And Community Landscape In Wawushan Scenic Spot

This thesis takes color-leafed plants of Wawushan scenic as the study subject. Throught line-road investigation metheods, the color-leafed plant diversity,their flora characteristics, growth habits, and ornamental characteristics were preliminarily discussed and researched; by using the method of typical sample survey, these features of colored-leaf plant community such as structure and the number were analyzed; using field survey combined 3 "S" technology,the distribution, colour and the best view of colored-leaf plants landscape in the scenic were analyzed and reform proposals were proposed. The main results were summarized as follows:1.In Wawushan scenic,137 species of color-leafed plants are belonging to 93 genera in 55 families.Among them, only 2 species of gymnosperm are belonging to 2 genera in 2 families,and 135 species of angiosperms are belonging to 91 genera in 53families, so angiosperms accounted for absolute advantage.There are 66 species of trees,46 species of shrubs,12 species of herbaceous and 13 vines. Incuding 24 spring-color plants,74 fall-color-plants,27color-leaf plants in both spring and autumn and 12 often color-leafed plants. From the analysis of floristic composition,there are 8 types of Distribution Department,the tropical distribution type is dominant.There are 12 genera distribution types,the temperate distribution type is the largest distribution.2.The structure of color-leafed plant community was given priority to the tree-shrub-herb structure, and among them,the structure of Sassafras tzumu-Broussonetia papyrifera- Buddleja lindleyana community, Metasequoia glyptostroboides-Rubus setchuenensis-Pteridium aquilinum community, Acer- Hydrangea macrophylla-Woodwardia japonica community, Acer+ Cornus controversa-Fargesia spathacea- Arthraxon hispidus community, and Castanopsis platyacantha+ Schima sinensis+ Acer+ Cornus controversa- Hydrangea macrophylla- Diplopterygium glaucum community are relatively constant.Color-leafed plant species in these communities are abundant.Species richness are around 10 species. But Color-leafed shrub species in these communities are rare.Color-leafed tree species dominance are orderly:Form. Acer\Hydrangea macrophylla, Form. Acer\ Cornus controversa,Form.Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Form. Sassafras tzumu, Form. Davidia involucrate, Form. Larix gmelini, Form. Castanopsis platyacantha\ Schima sinensis\ Acer\ Cornus controversa, Form. Hydrangea macrophylla\ Acer\ Decaisnea insignis. Four communities with high ornamental value and stability, such as Acer- Hydrangea macrophylla-Woodwardia japonica community, Acer+ Cornus controversa- Fargesia spathacea- Arthraxon hispidus community, Sassafras tzumu- Broussonetia papyrifera- Buddleja lindleyana community, Metasequoia glyptostroboides-Rubus setchuenensis-Pteridium aquilinum community are recommended.3. Color-leafed pant landscapes are concentrated in scenic 1100～2400 meters above sea level, with a total area of about 12 square kilometers, accounting for the entire scenic area 17.32%. From the distribution region, mainly vast tracts distributed in Davidia Villa area and in addition to the top platform, typical color-leafed pant landscapes are distributed in each visual range of other areas on the tour route. Color-leafed pant landscapes in Daiguocao, Shenkenghe and scenic entrance are slightly weak. Autumn color-leafed landscape is the main color-leafed landscape in the scenic, whereas spring color-leafed landscape is scarce. Among the autumn color-leafed landscape,red leaves landscape distributed about 8 square kilometers, and yellow leaves landscape distributed about 4 square kilometers.The best viewing period of autumn color-leafed landscapes in Wawushan scenic focused on mid-October to mid-November, the viewing time in nearly a month,and the best viewing places of autumn color-leafed landscapes in Wawushan scenic are Davidia Villa, ropeway and the lower area of top platform.4. Four proposals for improving color-leafed plant landscapes are put forward, creating spring color-leafed landscape, enriching shrub species in the community, increasing color-leafed pant landscapes at the scenic entrance and strengthening the protection of Davidia involucrata landscape.
