Current Situation And Optimization Of Plants Arrangement Of Zen Landscape In Jingzhou City

Plants are the foundation of greening and an indispensable part in landscape construction.The Zen culture is an important branch of Chinese traditional culture and it has been endowed with new connotation as the society develops.Therefore,the study of plants in the Zen landscape is of great significance to the improvement in the ability of the Zen plant landscape design and the development of the Zen culture.In order to evaluate the landscape characteristic in the 10 Zen landscape region in Jingzhou city,the flora,similarity,ornamental and diversity of plants in these region was investigated and two evaluation factor--visual sensory and ecological effeciency factor that was picked out from 12 evaluation factors was selected to make assessment of the 16 representative region with Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)in the 10 Zen landscape in Jingzhou city and to obtain relevant comprehensive score of these landscape region.Finally,the advantage and disadvantage of the Zen landscape in Jingzhou city was summarized,and further optimization measures concerning problems in the landscape region was put forwarded.The research results are as follows:(1)The survey was conducted on 10 sites of the Zen culture landscape in Jingzhou city.There were 172 species of plants from 106 genera and 62 families,including 22 species of gymnosperms from 17 genera and 8 families and 52 families 89 genera 150 species of Angiosperm,seperately accounting for 12.8% and 87.2% of the total species.It indicates that the Zen landscape species richness characteristic in Jingzhou city is not prominent.(2)Among various sample sites of the Zen landscape in Jingzhou city,there are total 17 plants species from 13 genera and 10 families.The similarity coefficient of species is at the middle level,and it is about 43.3%.(3)Among the plants commonly used in the Zen landscape of Jingzhou city,there are 11 species plants from Rosaceae,which accounts for the largest percentage of total species,followed by Luteaceae,Liliaceae,Leguminosae,Magnoliaceae and Rutaceae.Among woody plants,the plant species with 90% occurance frequency are Osmanthus,Palm,Camphor and Ginkgo,while it is Cycads in shrubs.The limitation between plant species is relatively great.(4)Among the commonly ornamental species in the Zen landscape in Jingzhou city,the most frequently used are ornamental plants,followed by flowering plants,foliage plants and fruit-effect plants.In the specific sample sites,the maximum number of species of ornamental plants used in jiulaoxiandu landscape region reaches at 17 species,while the commonly used flowering plants were in Guanyu temple,Guandi temple and Zhanghua with 14 species.The effect of ornamental plants should be increased at a certain extent,so as to enrich the landscape effect during plant landscaping.(5)According to the survey data in the Zen landscape plants in Jingzhou city,the diversity index and species richness of plants in different places are calculated.It can be known that the plant diversity is at a low level.The average Margalef richness index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index,Pielou evenness index and Berger-Parker ecological dominance index of the Zen landscape in Jingzhou city were 2.977,0.892,1.489 and 0.280 respectively.The diversity index of plants species is significantly different due to the location and function difference in plants.(6)Plant landscape evaluation was carried out on 16 universally representative regions in the AHP evaluation model.Plant landscape community with ?-level comprehensive evaluation accounts for 12% of the total evaluation;while with ? level accounted for 65%;? level accounts for 18% and ? level accounted for 6%,suggesting that there are some theory or practical foundation in plant designing of the Zen landscape in Jingzhou,and there are also some disadvantage to be solved: an comprehensive improvement on healthy condition of plant growth,and the environment coordination degree,color and season of plants.Finally,it is suggested that key consideration should be focused on the protection of the natural community of plant growth concerning the optimization of plant designing in the Zen landscape.In the meanwhile,it is of great important to pay more attention on the ecological habit and the allocation of species diversity of plant growth during the plant configuration,that is,different plant design approaches should be consistent with the reasonable demands of different plants in landscape designing.At last,it is commonly accepted that convert from event-ends managements to source management and necessary nutrient conditions for plant growth and development could be significant in building beautiful Zen plant landscape.
