This experiment was conducted to select a strain of Bacillus which had high phytate-degrading activity, and to ascertain the effects of its preparation on broiler chicken’s growth performance, slaughter performance and ileal flora. P、Ca excretion of broiler chicken fed with the preparation,as a most important part, had also been determined. This experiment’s main contents and results are as follows:1.There were seven strains of Bacillus which demonstrated high Phytase activity had isolated by selected medium. By measuring their phytase activities, T6 strain was found to have the highest activity, and the erude activity was 75.79U/ml.2.According to the results of traditional morphological characters and molecular biology techniques, T6 strain was identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens.3.120 one-day-old broiler chickens were randomly divided into 4 treatments in 3 replications with 10 birds per replicate. which were respectively designed as follow:group A feeding with basal diet, group B feeding with basal diet+500U/Kg phtast, group C and group D feeding with basal diet+0.1% and 0.05% additive. After 42 days of this feeding experiment, the results display as follows:(1)Growth performance:The average daily gain(ADG) of group C was 43.33g per day, which increased 5.6%(P<0.01)、5.5%(P<0.05) respectively,by comparing with group A,B.While feed conversion ratio(F/G) of group C decreased 2.94%(P<0.05)、2.46%(P<0.05),by comparing with group A,B. In this experiment Bacillus addition significantly increased ADG, and decreased F/G.(2)Slaughter performance:Compared with group A, the dressing percentage of broiler chicken, net rate of full-bore, pectoral rate and leg rate of group C increased 2.9%、4.9%、 4.8% and 5.1% respectively, and the differences were extremely significant(P<0.01). In this experiment Bacillus addition significantly increased the Slaughter performance.(3)Ileal flora:Compared with group A, The amount of Bacillus bifidus and Lactic acid bacteria of group C increased, and the difference is extremely significant. And the difference between group A、D is significant. The amount of Enteric bacilli, Enterococci and total aerobe bacteria decreased of group C、D are both significant more than group A、B. This experiment shows that Bacillus addition is good for the growing of probiotics.(4)Phosphorus and Calcium excretion:From the second week to the sixth week of feeding experiment, compared with group A, phosphorus excretion of group C、D decreased 22.1-41.9%、5.3-35.3%, while the calcium excretion of group C、D decreased 15.8-30%、 7.1-23.3%. This experiment shows that Bacillus addition reduced the P & Ca excretion.(5) Immune organs index and hemagglutination inhibition test:Compared with group A, the Immune organs index of group C significantly increased. There is none significant difference between group A、B、D. The result of hemagglutination inhibition test of each group nearly same. Those experiment shows that Bacillus addition to some extent increased the Immune organs index.
