In this paper, the yields of introduced spring wheat varieties in rainfed land were compared through plot trials and the drought resistance of the varieties was studied by determining physiological characteristics. By summing up many indexes, fuzzy multifactoral evaluation was used to screen the higher yield varieties with stronger drought resistance to adapt dryland area in Xinjiang. The results showed that the higher yield varieties with stronger drought resistance such as Cl 60 and 8275 were selected in the primary trials as a result of variance analysis and multiple comparison. These two varieties had higher biomass~ seeds per spike and spike grain weight. Their peak of leaf area index appeared earlier and in the middle of size; their leaf area were higher in later period. In the case of water stress, these two varieties had stronger drought resistance ,because their chlorophyll , RWC Prohne content and LWP were higher, their membrane permeabilities were lower. By summing up yields some important economic characters and physiological indexes ,fuzzy inultifactoral evaluation was used to evaluate varieties, so the values of varieties were rearranged .The arrangement is: C 160, 8275, 8139, 8624, 8338, Dingxi35, C4, Changchun3, Huiningl 7. The values of spring wheat varieties in rainfed land were made an all-side comprehensive and quantitative evaluation through fuzzy multifactoral evaluation. This method was simple . efficient and accurate.
