Two soybean varieties, Dongnong92-8033, Dongnong92-8055, resistant to SMVI, FLS7 and SCN3, and two soybean varieties, Dongnong96-84 and Fengshou22 susceptible to the three diseases, were grown in the net house. They were infected with one, two or three kinds of the diseases. The leaves were taken for biochemical analysis in two periods. The results showed that total phenolics, flavonoids and PPO activity in leaves of healthy soybean had no difference between resistant and susceptible varieties. Changes of total phenolics and flavonoids content and PPO activity in leaves between infected by SMV and SCN were similar. In resistant varieties, total phenolics and flavonoids content and PPO activity of infected soybeans were higher than those of healthy soybeans in Ri. And those of suspected varieties were contrary to resistant varieties. In R5, total phenolics and flavonoids content and PPO activity decreased in all the soybeans. After infected by FLS, the changes of biochemical characters of soybeans had no difference between resistant and susceptible varieties. The changes of the biochemical characters of soybeans after infected with two or three diseases were accord with those of soybeans infected one kind of the diseases. Total phenolics and PPO activity in roots of healthy soybean had no difference between resistant and susceptible varieties. Flavonoids content in roots of healthy soybean of the resistant varieties was much more than those of susceptible varieties. After infected with SCN, in resistant varieties, total phenolics content of infected soybeans was higher than those of the healthy soybeans. After infected with SCN, the changes of flavorioids content of the roots of resistant varieties were not apparent, and that of susceptible varieties increased. The change of PPO activity of both resistant varieties and susceptible varieties were not apparent. Postgraduate: Zhu Hongbo Major: breeding of plants Advisor: Prof. Wu Zongpu...
