Water culture. pot experiment and plot experiment were carried out to study the effect of selenium on alleviating membrane lipid peroxidation of soybean under continuous cropping stress and salt stress, By determining the content of coenzyme Qio ( CoQ10 ) in soybean leaves, the content of malondialdehyde (MDA ) in soybean leaves, contents of magnesium ( Mg)~ manganese ( Mn )~. calcium ( Ca )~ ferrous (Fe )-. sodium (Na) in soybean , measuring the soybean yield and observing the cell ultra structure of soybean leaves under continuous cropping stress through transmission electron microscope, We draw the conclusions as follows:Water culture and pot experiment showed that under salt stress and continuous cropping stress, the content of C0Q10 in soybean leaves increased if the way of adding selenium was properly chosen. In the pot experiment, the treatment of soybean seed which have been applied with selenium was more significant than others. The tests of MDA in water culture~. seedling pot experiment and plot experiment indicated that in the range of selenium concentrations used in the experiments, different way of adding selenium were all helpful to decrease the damages of membrane lipid peroxidation. Take the soybean leaves of the pot experiment at flowering stage to observe the cell ultra structure, the photographs demonstrated that adding selenium treatments made the construction of chloroplast and mitochondrion in good condition, however, CK were injured at different levels. At the same time, contents of Mg~ Fe~ Mn.~ Na.. Ca in soybean showed that adding selenium could promote the uptake of Mg.. Fe.. Mn, lower the absorption of Ca., and have none obvious effect on Na. Moreover, adding selenium improved the yield of soybean under continuous cropping stress.
