Studies on Active Oxygen Metabolism and StorageEffect of Several Chemicals Treatments for postharvest Nectarinepostgraduate:Yang ShuZhen Tutor:prof.Rao Jingping"Qinguang" nectarine [ prunus persica var.nectarine(Ait) Maxim] were respectively treated with salicylic Acid(SA),Gibberellic acid(GA3), GA3+SA,ethylene absorbent. The effects of CK,GA3 and SA on active oxygen metabolism and different chemicals treatments on nectarine storage were studied. The relationship of active oxygen and nectarine senescence were discussed.Two better treatments for "Qinguang" nectarine storage were obtained.The results indicate:while nectarine fruit senescencing,H2O2 content was increasing.It had significant negative relation with catalase(CAT) activity,GSH and ASA content which cooperated with each other to eliminate H2O2;Advent of LOX peak is ahead of H2O2 accumulation and respiratory climacteric,it is a factor of starting nectarine membrane lipid peroxidation. With the senescence of nectarine fruits, POD was decreasing gradually and had a small activity peak in the later Stage;Its effects on nectarine fruits are more complex.SA can improve H2O2 content and restrain CAT activity of nectarine fruit in ealier stage. so it makes fruit obtain SAR and raises its capability of eliminating active oxygen in middle~later stage. Therefore SA can reduce rotten nectarines and keep fruits fresh. GA3 can keep nectarine fresh through its active oxygen metabolism. GA3 can delay LOX activity peak and decrease H2O2, MDA content, espectially in ealier stage.In the four treatments. SA and GA3 are two better treatments for nectarine storage.GA3 combination with SA treatment had certain effects on nectarine storage,but it was not better than GA3,SA alone . Ethylene absorbent had no notable effect on nectarine.
