Experiments were conducted with 25 Chinese HoNtein dairy COWS to study the effec拁 s of 梒arboxvethvl桮ermani urn sesqui oxide (G&?2), Seleni urn (Se) and CuZhangSu containing G&3 on milk production and composition(containing milk protein, miik fat, milk lactose percentages and body celils),the function of antioxidant system, and the relationship and the content of Germanium (Ge) Se. Cuprum(Cu) Zine(Zn) in blood and wilk. The animals they were randomly divided into 5 groups, each consisting 5 cows. Group I was used as cantrol. Group llandlllwere supplemented with Ge?2 25 mg/kg and sodium Selenite 0.6 mg/kg respectivelv.GroupjVwas supplemented with both Ge?2 25 mg/kg and sodium Selenite 0.6 mg/kg. GroupVwas supplemented with CuZhangSu 1. 5%. Blood and milk samples were collected at 10 days intervals to examine the activities of serum GSH桺X and CuZn桽OD and the content of MDA, fern (Fe) and calcium(Ca),milk production ,compositions and the content of Ge Se Cu Zn in whole blood, milk, water, soil, forages grass and feed were simultaneously 43 3flaIYZLJ during he experiment periods. The results showed that the actvimes of serum GSH桺X and CuZn桽OD in Group 11 and serum GSH桺X in Grouplllwere significantly increased(Pind higher tham. that in Group 111 (P<0. 05), the contents of serum MDA were significantly decreasedP<0. 01 and lower than those in Grouphland Groupil(P
