The soybean cultivar Bei 92-28 was tested, m tins experiment and the split plot design was adopted in 2000. The mam treatment was irrigation which had three level presented by A]; A; and A3; the subsidiary treatment was fertilizer application which had three level presented by BI. Rand 63. The influence of coupling effect between water and fertilizer on yield and quality of soybean was studied in mis experiment The object was to provide theoretical evidence and man powered controllable locations for soybean production in frigid zone in Heilongjiang province. The results of tins experiment showed that1. The watering effect varied with the amount of fertilizer and the reverse was me same . There were differences m soybean yield at three fertilizer level in treatment A: (no watering), but not significant. After watering (A2 and A3). there was 1% level of significance of difference m soybean yield as the amount of fertilizer applied The highest yield was Moderate fertilizer (62) which achieved 3285.0 KgAnn2; there were differences of yield between Zero fertilizer level and High fertilizer level, but the differences were not significant2. The increase of yield was mainly dependent on the increase of seeds per pod under the condition of dry land and no fertilizer. The Moderate fertilizer levdcouM increase me number of pods per plant per hundred seeds weight and soybean yiekL the High fertilizer increased yield by decreasing the number of dropping flowers and pods. Irrigation could accelerate the translccation of nutrient material, increase weight of seed and yield Better water conditions and moderate fertilizer could increase per hundred seeds weaght at the level of very significance, and increase the number of flowers and pods at the level of significance.3 The change of leaf area mdex was unimodal peak curve, dry matter accumulation was sgmate curve. Watering could stimulate the growth of leaf and the mount of dry- mattfr acormulation. The change of harvest index was the performance of that Normal fertihzer level>High fertilizer level>Zero fertilizer level in A- and A3 treatment4 The change of root dry weight was sigmate curve. Root dry weight had a positive correlation with vield of soybean among aH treatments.5. Among all treatments, there were differences m accumulation of protein and oil of seed The change of protein accumulation was first nsmg slowly, then declining slowly and last rising rapidly. The change of oil accumulation was the trends of first lowering, then increasing and at last lowering again as the going of growth period The accumulation of protem m seed had a very difference wilh that of oil under different conditions. The coefficient of correlation between accumulation of protein and oil m seeds would decline qirickry with the irrigating frequency under the same fertilizer level.6. N.RK uptaking and accumulating trends were similar m vegetable among aH treatments. After watering the seed increased the mount of NPJC absorption, but the changes of accumulation rate were different The amount of NPJC accumulated in seed had a very positive cotreJation with soybean vieJdPostgraduate: HaoLi Major.
